ANNOUNCEMENT 
Wonga Park Cricket Club are delighted to announce the signing of our new coaches for the 2022/23 season!
It is with excitement that we welcome Ben and Josh White to the role for the upcoming season.
After welcoming back the duo in recent years, their positive effect on the young group has shone through, with their skills and experiences helping to guide the club.
Josh’s knowledge is backed by his experience in the cricket system, with games in Fitzroy Doncaster’s 1st XI premier side and time in Victoria’s fast bowling academy. His strong communication skills are reflected in his everyday life, with Josh currently an occupational therapist working with children, adults and families.
Ben has been a leader of the club over the past two seasons, winning the Club Champion in 2021/22 and bowling average in the 1st XI. Also featuring in premier cricket, his role as a school teacher highlights his ability to work with large groups and teach new skills.
As a collective, the two have taken 84 wickets @ 17 in the past two seasons and are respected by the current playing group. Having had access to the elite environment at Victoria’s highest club level and some of the best coaches, we believe they can foster a successful cricketing program at Wonga Park.
We are excited to welcome them to the role, and look forward to watching the clubs development in their lead.
