Junior Coaching Coordinator
The Junior Coaching Coordinator’s role is to provide support for all Junior Coaches of the Wonga Park Cricket Club, and to assist in the development of Junior Coaches and a Junior Cricket Coaching program that will enable the development of Junior Cricketer’s of all levels of ability in the areas of:
- Cricket skills
- Leadership
- Teamwork
- Relationship Building

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of the club
- The Junior Coaching Coordinator will participate with any RDCA Junior Coaching support programs and assist in the ongoing education & support of WPCC Junior Coaches of new and developing cricket coaching programs / techniques being suggested by the RDCA or Cricket Victoria / Australia.
- The Junior Coaching Coordinator in conjunction with the Junior Vice President will provide independent points of contact for:
- any player behaviour concerns identified by the Junior Coaches, or
- concerns from Parents of junior players in regards to Junior Coaches.
- any other issues or concerns regarding coaching or player relationships at the club
- Any matters raised would seek preliminary review and or mediation between the parties (as appropriate), and / or implementation of resolution actions in accord with club policy (as appropriate).
KEY OBJECTIVES
The Junior Coaching Coordinator’s key objectives are to facilitate:
- Support and encouragement for all Junior Coaches at the Wonga Park Cricket Club
- The development and maintenance of training resources to assist Junior Coaches in achieving the objectives of the Wonga Park Cricket Club (Junior) cricket program.
- Provide mentorship and support for new coaches in the development of their programs in accord with the expectations of the Wonga Park Cricket Club (Juniors) key objectives.
- Develop a program of excellence which result in a strong and vibrant Wonga Park Cricket Club (Juniors) community
A program that results in junior player / parent positive assessment of the Wonga Park Cricket Club (Juniors) program.
