PLAYER ANNOUNCEMENT 2022/23
We are delighted to announce the return of Sam Mathews for Season 2022/23.
A familiar face at Wonga, having already donned the Baggy Blue for 128 games, Sam is a talented bowler with some impressive credentials – 149 wickets, including 5 x 5 wkt hauls with a best of 6/21 and 1,194 runs, with a highest score of 85*.
A previous winner of 1st XI MVP award, 2 x 1st XI Bowling Awards, 3 x Team of the Year recipient and an RDCA Bowling Trophy winner, we look forward to Sam once again putting on his Wonga cap.
