We are delighted to announce the return of Ben Mathews for Season 2022/23.
Another familiar Wonga face, having donned the Baggy Blue for 189 games, Ben is a talented All-Rounder with some impressive credentials – 214 wickets, including 4 x 5 wkt hauls with a best of 5/8 and 3,484 runs, with a highest score of 129.
A previous winner of the John Knee Club Champion award, Club MVP award, previous 1st XI Captain (5 seasons), 2 x 1st XI MVP awards, 1st XI Bowling Award, 2 x 1st XI Batting Awards and a 3 x Team of the Year recipient, we are thrilled to have Ben once again pull on his Wonga cap.
